Maximise the use of available space and promote an active lifestyle for the whole community
We work with schools, leisure centres and local authorities to create flexible spaces that can offer a varied programme of sport throughout the year, from basketball and badminton to judo and gymnastics. They offer significant bang for your buck in their efficient use of space and versatility. Any number of activities can be accommodated and every age group catered for.
Multi-use sports halls not only enable schools to expand and enhance their PE curriculum to give them a competitive edge but they can also generate an additional revenue opportunity. Schools can rent out the facilities to local sports clubs out of hours and throughout the holidays.
Community multi-use sports venues are able to provide a safe environment that facilitates physical activity for the positive wellbeing of local residents and is inclusive of all demographics.

“We have been delighted with the progress on our new Sports Hall. CopriSystems have worked with precision and speed to realise our plans. This facility will enhance our provision of excellent sporting experiences for many members of our learning community.“

Welland Park Academy
A fully customised turnkey construction project, led by us as principal contractors, to design & install a state-of-the-art multi-sports facility that would benefit students at the school and the broader local community.
Bespoke
Our fixed and telescopic domes can be designed to fit the space available and offer ample height for the activities you are planning. They are designed to suit the environment they will be built in and compliment your surroundings. In built-up urban areas, where additional security may be required, a modern steel-clad building could be best, whereas the aesthetic of sustainable glulam wood could be better suited to a more rural setting.
Our structures are a more affordable, more versatile alternative to traditional bricks and mortar and we will work with your vision and your specifications to create the perfect one for you..
Sport for All
Multi-use facilities can be the ideal conduit towards promoting inclusivity in sport. Our bespoke approach means that we can tailor the structural designs and internal fit-out to accommodate both able-bodied athletes and those with disabilities.
We have worked with schools to create a space that can enhance their special educational needs programme of sport, as well as community foundations, looking to engage with those marginalised from society through physical activity, and sports clubs who wanted to reach vulnerable groups from diverse backgrounds via a year-round sports programme that promotes social change.
Turnkey
We have the experience and skillset to act as principal contractor on your project so you would only need one point of contact to manage everything from the initial surveys and groundworks to the lighting, playing surface and even the basketball hoops.
Changing rooms, viewing areas, reception space or even classrooms can also be incorporated. With just one contractor managing each of these stages, communication will be streamlined and the project is more likely to run to time and budget.
SAPCA
The accreditation from SAPCA is of huge importance to us as we recognise how highly regarded this is by our clients. We continue to monitor their standards and ensure we meet, if not exceed, their stringent criteria for sports construction.
Each year, we are required to review the association’s code of professional conduct to certify our continued commitment to their customer service and business practice.
We have our own high expectations of quality and respect the scrutiny that comes with gaining SAPCA approval, which is why we value the membership badge so much.

Playing Surfaces & Lighting
By implementing a thoughtful lighting strategy – including energy-efficient LEDs and optimal fixture placement – venues can create an environment that supports peak performance and comfort for all. Sports hall lighting design has to solve various challenges depending on the performed activity. Players often look up while playing ball sports, so light distribution is important to consider in order to avoid glare. Fixtures also need to be resistant to impact.
The smaller and faster the ball, the more light is needed. Most ball sports can be played and viewed at 200 lux, while squash or table tennis require 300 lux. For competitions, the recommended illuminance value could be as high as 500 to 750 lux.
We work with a number of SAPCA approved 3rd party specialists to offer a range of flooring options that are durable, resilient and versatile. We understand that multi-use sports facilities need to be able to host a club tournament one day and possibly school exams the next so we can discuss options with you to suit your preference and usage requirements.
